Pozzol Groppo is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about east of Turin and about east of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 394 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Pozzol Groppo contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Lorenzo and Bigiasco. Pozzol Groppo borders the following municipalities: Cecima, Godiasco, Momperone, Montemarzino, and Volpedo.
